Granny's 1871 Lye Soap is a multi-purpose soap that I hand mix in small batches using fresh tallow and lard, and no scent. It's the ultimate "survivalist" soap as it can be used to wash the skin, dishes, linens, even the dog! A softer, less voluminous lather due to the limited ingredients but this soap will clean beautifully and still leave skin soft. Handcut bars are approximately 4 oz each and come in a PACKAGE OF TWO with great vintage labels. Cost for the two soaps is $12 plus $5.50 shipping. Buy several and save on the shipping costs! Email me at ccradle@worldpath.net if you would like to purchase and thanks for stopping by!
