Once again I've been working on quillies, It's a nice little pastime to pass the hours while caregiving my momma. They're created with strips of wool rolled together and they were perfect for this beautiful acorn makedo. There are countless hours of work rolling and assembling these pieces. The quillies were then applied to a stuffed wool acorn. I mounted it on a large wooden mill spool from my stash, and added a large antique key and buttons. The seams are X stitched. I've added a wooden tag with a vintage squirrel book cover print. A one of a kind treasure that should bring you joy for many years to come! Just over 12 inches tall.
