I've created my sweet Irish lassies with linen printed feedsack bodies. She’s stuffed firmly, aged, painted and sanded for a prim weathered appearance. Her osnaburg head, arms, and feet have been stitched neatly in place. Legs are painted with stripes and black booties. Her facial features are hand stitched and painted and her pointy little ears are stitched on. Her cotton ruffled skirt is stitched in place. Her hair is hand dyed sheep’s wool, felted in place. Atop her head is a cotton fabric covered paper mache hat. She sits at just over 12 inches tall, from her bum to the top of her hat...
