I’ve stitched this sweet little red squirrel from heavy linen, using an abundance of hand stitches. Head and tail are stitched in place. Arms are thread jointed in place. It has beady little eyes and heavy cord whiskers. It holds a wee aged metal acorn bell and has a wool neck scarf. I’ve nestled it into one of my linen pumpkins. It has been painted, stained, sanded and aged for a perfect old time appearance. I’ve added Spanish moss. About nine and a half inches tall. Pumpkin is a little over five inches diameter.
