The edges of the design were left raw and I love the time worn effect. I hope you do too. Accenting the design is a row of primly stitched "x"s on both ends. The background fabric was originally a dark tan cotton linen blend before the aging process. It appears slightly darker in person than the photo reveals.This piece can be used as a pincushion due to its 100% wool stuffing, or a prim bowl filler.
