The festive tree on this oval drum comes from the BBD “Christmas Garden” chart. It’s stitched on linen with overdyed threads, and the sides and bottom are a Moda fabric. It is firmly stuffed with a mix of sawdust, crushed walnut shells, and a small amount of lavender giving it a nice soft scent. The top measures 3 1/2” by 2 1/4”, and is 2” high. I’ve added a few glass head pins, a small pine cone charm, and some vintage buttons. It comes signed and dated, and travel fare is $8.00. Please click on the photo to see additional pictures.
