I stitched this drum using the 3 flowers from one of the samplers in the BBD Book, Ooh La La. It is stitched on WDW Gingham linen with overdyed threads, and I used a Moda fabric for the top and bottom. It is firmly stuffed with a mix of sawdust, crushed walnut shells, and a small amount of lavender, giving it a nice soft scent. To the top, I've added some glass head pins, a few vintage buttons from my collection, and a charm. The drum measures just over 2 1/2" in diameter, and 3 1/2" tall, and it comes signed and dated.Travel fare is $8.00. Please click on the photo to see additional pictures.
