I have securely attached to a whale's tail hornbook that has been painted sanded and antiqued for a nice primitive look. The Whale Anchor measures 10 1/2 inches tall and just under 7 inches wide. Pattern is from a wonderful new book, Primitive & Folk Art Fancies by Robin Leuschen and Teresa Miller, filled with lovely patterns to hook, punch or embroider.
