Last year, we had a wild Pea-Hen living in the neighborhood. I saw her almost every day, but she has never returned through winter. I hope she just moved on, yet I still find myself looking for her every morning. I love this very primitive bird - She measures 16” long x 12” tall and is mounted on a very vintage ceramic door knob.
