The winter snow had just fallen and settled all around when Mr. Snow donned his red wooly scarf, warm hat and boots and set out for a stroll. A passerby happened to snap this photo of him set against the snow laden pines. ;] I hooked this rug with the wintry gray and blue wools that characterize winter days on my hill. The rug is made from 100% wool strips on a pure linen foundation cloth. It will outlast us all! A little sleeve has been added to the back in case you'd like to hang it from a small dowel rod. The rod is not included. It would also make an adorable mat for your french press and coffee mug, or as a trivet for a steaming pot of soup or casserole. The outside measurement including the binding is approx. 9 inches by 12 inches. It is hooked by hand and made in my pet-free, smoke-free home tucked away in the rural hills of Berks County, PA.
