I came across a beautiful chicken and had to paint her! Her feathers had shimmery greens, purples and teals! Just gorgeous and enchanting, so I'm naming her Esmeralda! Someday I hope to have chickens and maybe even one like her. She is painted in acrylic on a vintage wooden piece that I purchased at an estate sale. The wood is very primitive, possibly barn wood with grooves and worm holes. The perfect size with a hole for hanging and measures at the longest point 19.5 x 7.25".
