The hand done details being imperfect, were intentional. I love how it turned out. Just so simple, and primitive. (I used a fabric I had in my stash, and not quite sure what it was, but loved the weight and texture it had.) I put it through my prim process giving it a nice aged look. I embroidered the words "Be My Valentine" on the front. I added a small hand cut appliquéd red wool heart with another piece of wool underneath in red, black, and grey to look kinda of like a postage stamp. I backed it with red ticking fabric. It is amply rag stuffed weighing almost 10 ounces giving it a nice substantial feel. The pillow measures about 8 inches widest x about 5 inches. Adult collectible.
