SOLDOverdyed Wool Appliquéd Pumpkin Face Pillow/Bowl Fillers

This is a set of two overdyed wool pillow/bowl fillers I appliquéd fun pumpkin faces on them. These are not a pattern, I simply cut them each one out and created them as I went along! These are stuffed with premium polyfil and aren’t stuffed tight but nice and poofy. They can work as pincushions as well I’m sure, just not stuffed as tight as I do like the pumpkin stacked ones etc. This is for the set of the orange faced ones. The tall oval shaped one is 7” tall and 5” wide. The square round faced one is 5 1/2” wide and 6” tall. Kindly asking $43 for the set which will include shipping. Harvest Pillow and Velvet Pumpkin

Just in time for the upcoming Harvest Season, I have made this sweet pillow. I have embroidered Harvest on this lovely Blackberry Primitives linen. I have added a sweet pillow made with some of my antiqued fabric. I have backed with a coordinating felted wool. I have filled with some of my wool snips. The pillow measures 6 inches high and 7 inches wide. I have also added a lovely velveteen pumpkin with a real pumpkin stem. This set will ship for free in the United States.

PILLOW CANDLEWICK

PILLOW, PRIMITIVE CANDLEWICK. Sweet little Hand Candlewick Pillow . I found the starts of this pillow at a flea market and just KNEW it needed to be finished. The pillow measures 19 inches by 19 inches square and has been tea stained to enhance it's primitive look. Candlewick pillows were first popular in the 1050's so I'm sure this sweet piece is at least 50 years old. It just needed to be finished. What a treasure! Love Primitive Pillow

This is my own design "Love Primitive" pillow. I created this pillow to have a naive, and simple look. I hand stitch all my creations. The hand done details being imperfect, were intentional. I love how it turned out. Just so simple, and primitive. (I used a fabric I had in my stash, and not quite sure what it was, but loved the weight and texture it had.) I put it through my prim process giving it a nice aged look. I embroidered the word "Primitive" on the front. I added a 4 small hand cut, and hand appliquéd red wool hearts. I backed it with a pretty brown calico fabric. It is nicely rag stuffed. The pillow measures about 7 inches widest x about 5 1/2 inches. Adult collectible. I put it through my prim process giving it a nice aged look. I hand cut all the wool as I went so no two trees, or birds will be alike. Miss Henrietta is stitched with brown floss. Lots of little stitches went into this piece. Completely hand sewn. I gave it some extra detail with an appliqué sun and clouds. No pattern. I hand appliquéd birds in red, white, and blue wool. I added a few repairs backed with a piece of red, and white ticking, and added a lot of small stitches around it. This piece has a lot of hand stitching. I like the effect the stitching gave each bird, and the Folky Prim look. I used a faded blue cotton fabric for the front of the pillow, and backed it with a nice coordinating Civil War reproduction fabric. I have firmly stuffed this pillow with mohair scraps, and rags; I love the nice weighty feel it has. It weighs in at over a pound packed up. This pillow measures about 10 1/2 inches x 6 inches.
