SOLD - thank you! This artwork is handmade, hand cut, and hand woven using a variety of old papers. The background is a piece of marbled paper saved from a late 1800s book that was falling apart. The hand is cut from lightly aged /stained paper. The ring is a snippet of vintage gold metallic paper. I used a page from an old French ledger for the heart. The cuff was cut from a 1940s floral lithograph. This late 1800s frame has lost most of the velvet, but when you open the doors, you can still see the lovely fuchsia color.
