Primitive Handmades Mercantile is a group of artists creating new handmade items for your home each month. We enjoy creating lifelong heirlooms with our hands, like our grandma used to do. You will find Folk Art, homemade Soaps, penny rugs, hooked rugs, stitcheries, fraktur painting, primitive dolls, and other hand-stitched heirlooms!
How we work as a group!
New items for purchase will be available every 3rd Thursday at 8:00 PM Eastern.
Each artist maintains their own page, so you may find a PayPal button to make a purchase, or you may need to send an email to them, which will be provided in the listing.
Sold items remain on the pages until the next update!
Some artists do take orders so be sure to ask if you miss something you would love to purchase!

Meet Lynn Higbie of The Button Box
Hello everyone. My name is Lynn Higbie and I'm the owner of The Button Box.
I live in Western New York with my husband, our three dogs, one cat and two rabbits. I have loved creating since I was just a young child. From drawing and painting to learning to crochet blankets for my dolls. I don't ever remember a time in my life when I wasn't in love with dolls. I still love them today and have been sewing dolls, bears, rabbits, snowmen and Santas for thirty years. I'd have to say that I love to create bears and rabbits the most. To me, no matter the style, they always hold such a childlike charm. I'm so happy to be included with this wonderful gathering of talented artists and so excited to share my creations with you.
