Vintage Quilt Squares Japanese Rice Bag

This is my small 4”x4” Japanese rice bag/pouch I created using 5 old vintage quilt squares I’ve had for years! The whole pouch has been hand stitched and in each of the 2” squares I have added a variety of stitches, metallic beads, vintage buttons, lace, and even some sari ribbon for the ties. The lining is some of my dyed cotton toweling I created with a variety of different dyes. Though small you can use this for a sewing project, your sock or mitten knitting, a slow stitch project, or your maybe a cross stitch project too! If you have any questions please feel free to ask.
