Lily Anna Stitches

I was born and raised in Wisconsin. I consider myself an "old soul" whose creative roots run deep. Growing up surrounded by a community of women dedicated to traditional handiwork, I spent my formative years immersed in the arts of sewing garments, quilting, crocheting, doll making, and cross-stitching among many other creative hobbies. For me, the hallmark of a perfect day is the sense of fulfillment that comes from completing a new creative project. In 2007, I transformed this lifelong passion into a professional venture by launching my own business. Specializing in original wool appliqué designs, I began selling my patterns to quilt shops across the country. Today, my signature designs continue to inspire makers through my Lily Anna Stitches website, where I offer both patterns and the high-quality materials needed to bring them to life. My husband and I have 3 grown children. Ages 25 to 41, quite a span of years raising children. Wisconsin winters are a perfect time to spend in my sewing studio. Once Summer arrives here in Wisconsin, you’ll find me out gardening, hiking and walking our little French bulldog, Max. Summers are short here in Wisconsin and we want to enjoy every minute of it. We travel 8 ½ hours to visit our youngest daughter in Ohio every couple of months. She asked me if I could spare a sewing machine for her the next trip as she has an interest in pursuing a hobby of sewing!! I couldn’t be prouder than to share my skills with her to see what she will create.
