Snowmen on Boxes...left or right
$115.00
These snowmen boxes were fun and very different from my usual paper mache pieces. The snowman on the left (9"H) is on a green/black painted box, with a reverse stenciled snowflake motif around the box bottom. I crafted the head from a paper mache mix, and formed his face, sanded, painted, applied 2 coats of wax to seal and age him, and then engineered an attachment method to hold his head securely to the box lid. It took a lot of time, work and thinking through each step! The snowman on the right (6 1/2"H) was made in much the same way as the first one. The difference is in the shape of the hat, with greenery, berries and a metal star attached around the hat brim. I used wooden stars to anchor him from outside and inside the box. I covered the lid with a gray dot paper and the bottom with a gray, blue, white and rose tint paper. They were very much out of my usual super primitive, simple design style and they really were a nice change for me...hope you like their late vintage vibe! I am kindly asking 115.00 each, plus postage. I gladly accept paypal....please email [email protected] to make a purchase.
