I love the colors and vintage look of this design, “Christmas Cactus” by Blackbird Designs. It’s stitched on 35 count linen with overdyed threads, and I’ve lightly stained it, so it has a really nice aged look. The sides and bottom are 2 coordinating reproduction fabrics. It is firmly stuffed with a mixture of sawdust, ground walnut shells, and lavender, giving it a nice soft scent. I’ve also added some glass head pins, a few vintage buttons along with a charm, and it comes signed and dated. The oval shape measures 4 1/2” wide and 3 1/4” deep, and the height of the drum is 2 1/2”. Travel fare is $8.00. Please click on the photo to see an additional picture.
