Valentine’s “Pins For You” Needlebook, which I adapted from a design by Paola Ferrante, is stitched with overdyed threads on overdyed linen. It is completely padded inside and out, and I’ve used 2 coordinating Moda fabrics for the inside and back. The inside has an appliquéd layered wool heart at the top and 2 wool layers to hold all of your needles. I’ve added a few glass head pins, and a charm, and it closes with a vintage shoe button..
