This is a large hooked rug 22 1/2" wide at the bottom and 17 1/2" high in the center, and the design comes from The Old Tattered Flag. The foundation is monk's cloth, and I used a combination of my hand dyed wool and wool from my stash that was purchased at various shows.The warm, primitive colors plus the design bring a calming feel to the holidays.
