Hello and Welcome Friends and thank you for visiting my page!  My name is Nan Lewis.  I'm a cross stitch artist and designer, but love to create with wools and fibers of all kinds.  I hope to show you some special and one of a kind creations each month.  I love to make primitive stitcheries and needfuls.  It is such a joy to see an idea come to reality.  They are all made with love by my own hands.

This sweet drum features an original cross stitched in a variegated over dyed floss. It's been stitched, stained and firmly stuffed with wood shaving and crushed walnut shells. I've used a beautiful floral reproduction fabric and I've added a few stitching doodads on top. Measures approx 4" across by 2 1/2"H. Comes signed and dated. Prioritytravel fare is $7.00.
This huswife features a wool appliqued flower, booked fabrics for your needles and pins and a gathered pocket for storing sewing needfuls. I've used an assortment of reproduction fabrics and some silk seam binding for a tie. The binding is completely hand stitched and I've added a real bone ring for the hanger. Measures 12"H by 5" W. Comes signed and dated. Priority travel fare is $6.45
This sampler roll is crossed stitched with my own original design called "Never Fading" in overdyed floss on stained linen. Antiqued homespun is used for the lining. There's a wool pocket for your sewing scissors and bronze thread rings to hold your floss. Piece measures 9" W by 16 1/2" when open. Comes signed and dated. Priority travel fare $6.45
