I made this design by Mavis Butterfield into a whimsical, folk art pillow, 12 by 15 . Strips of cloth were used for the stuffing making a flatter pillow with a little weight to it. Aged cream-color duck cloth , for a not so new look, hand sewn on for the backing. Lots of color using hand dyed wool. Would be fun look for a porch chair, or lovely folk art for in your home. This lavender was made with a lite soft plum color wool , green wool leaves and grouped 7 stems of the woolly lavender in an olde stoneware crock .
