Dulaney Woods Treasures

Stitchery, needle punch, dolls, and other primitives

Welcome to Dulaney Woods Treasures, where you'll find a little bit of everything that is primitive.   I have been a quilter for over 15 years and learned needlework at the young age of 13.  My mother always had us girls making something and I think that's were I get my love of creating things.   I feel so lucky to be part of such a wonderful group as this.  I hope that I will do them proud.   If you have any questions please feel free to contact me any time.

This sweet heart scissor and needle book is 5" at it's widest point and 8" Long when closed. When the book is open it is 10 3/4" widest point and 8" long. I just love this Maggie Bonanomi design but put it together totally different than she did. There is a lot of hand stitching in this lovely. I've used all cotton fabrics, cotton batting, chipboard, a little bit of wool, a little bit of linen, and my hand dyed twill ribbon to make this sweet treasure. The piece comes with the beautiful scissors and white glass head pins seen in the photo. Just click on the photo to see the other photos of this piece. Asking $82 plus $8 shipping.
