Halloween Jack Measuring Tape SOLD

Halloween Jack is my own design, and is stitched on 32 count linen with overdyed threads. The tops and bottoms are lightly padded with batting, and they measure 2 1/2” high, and just under 2 1/2” wide. The sides, back and stem are three coordinating Moda fabrics, and each one is a different mix, with no two alike. Price is for each tape, and travel fare is $8. OCT. 31’st Thread Holder/Scissors Case SOLD

This Halloween pumpkin is taken from a design by Brenda Gervais, and I’ve stitched it on 35 count linen using overdyed threads. It’s completely padded with cotton batting, the back has 2 coordinating Moda fabrics, and I’ve pinned a Halloween charm to the front. On the right hand side I’ve attached 4 black bone rings to hold your threads, and in the pocket on the back I’ve added some glass head pins, and a pair of primitive scissors. Halloween Cat Drumsold

I stitched this Halloween drum on 35 count linen with overdyed threads, and used 2 coordinating Moda fabrics for the sides and bottom. The design is a small part of a Sampler by Lila's Studio which I changed up a bit. It is firmly stuffed with a mix of sawdust, crushed walnut shells, and a small amount of lavender giving it a nice soft scent. I’ve added some glass head pins, a few pearl buttons, and a charm. The drum measures 3 1/4” in diameter, and about 3” tall, and it comes signed and dated. Travel fare is 8.50. Please click on the photo to see additional pictures.

This is the second design called “Tweet Hearts” by BBD, which I used to make this scissors case. It’s stitched on linen, using overdyed threads, has 2 coordinating cotton fabrics, and is completely padded with cotton batting. The strawberry scissors fob is firmly stuffed with crushed walnut shells, has a wool cap, and is topped with an antique button. The case measures 4 1/4” high, and 3” wide. SOLDQuaker Pocket

This pocket was my favorite one to stitch! It was made using hand-dyed linen and threads and reproduction civil war fabrics for the lining, strap and back. It is 7 1/2” long and 6 1/2” wide with a 21” strap. I added a tiny velvet strawberry that is 3/4” long, stuffed with wool and topped with a green wool cap and vintage mother of pearl button. I love the blues I chose for this ditty bag, perfect for summer holidays! The bag is 8” long x 6” wide with an 18” long strap. I added a sweet bronze charm and a tiny velvet strawberry that has been stuffed with wool and topped with a green wool cap and vintage mother of pearl button. SOLD 1776 Hornbook

***SOLD Thank you I love anything that is patriotic! This 1776 hornbook was made using a pattern by Threadwork Primitives called Patriotic Pine. I used hand-dyed linen and threads and pretty, brown, reproduction civil war fabric for the bottom pinkeep. It is approximately 8” tall and 6” wide. I painted the board black, sanded it and then painted it a wonderful barn red to add to its primitive look; It was then sanded and waxed to make it smooth. I am asking $48.00 plus $7.50 for travel.

I stitched this drum using the 3 flowers from one of the samplers in the BBD Book, Ooh La La. It is stitched on WDW Gingham linen with overdyed threads, and I used a Moda fabric for the top and bottom. It is firmly stuffed with a mix of sawdust, crushed walnut shells, and a small amount of lavender, giving it a nice soft scent. To the top, I've added some glass head pins, a few vintage buttons from my collection, and a charm. Patriotic Measuring Tapes. ALL SOLD

I've had lots of requests for more measuring tapes, so I did a few with a patriotic theme for this month. The crow design is taken from the design "Liberty Parade" by Sandra Sullivan, and the Patriotic Quaker design is my own. The tops and bottoms are lightly padded with batting, and they measure 2" across both ways. Price is for each tape, and travel fare is $7.00.
