This drum, a design by Sub Rosa, is a good size measuring just over 5” across, about 2 1/2” high, and is stitched on an overdyed linen with silk threads. The sides and bottom are 2 coordinating Moda fabrics, and I’ve firmly stuffed it with a mix of sawdust, ground walnut shells, and a small amount of lavender, giving it a nice soft scent. I’ve added some glass head pins, and black mourning pins, along with a few vintage buttons and a heart charm. The drum comes signed and dated. Please click on photo to see additional picture.
